ABOUT THE TRUST

The Trust Deed dates from 4th July 1964. The Trust is a registered charity and is responsible for the Kennedy Memorial Fund. It has a Board of eleven Trustees, many of whom are involved in the Scholarship selection process:

Professor Emma Rothschild
A former Kennedy Scholar, Emma Rothschild is a Director of the Centre for History and Economics at King's College Cambridge and Professor of History at Harvard.

Daniel Alexander QC
A former Kennedy Scholar, Daniel Alexander is a barrister at 8 New Square and specialises in intellectual property law.

Professor David Cannadine
Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Professor of British History at the Institute of Historical Research, University of London.

Professor Kay-Tee Khaw
Professor of Clinical Gerontology at the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine.

Professor Richard Lester (Representing MIT)
A former Kennedy Scholar, Richard Lester is Professor of Nuclear Engineering and Director of MIT's Industrial Performance Center.

Professor Roderick MacFarquhar (Representing Harvard)
Leroy B Williams Professor of History and Political Science, Harvard University.

Professor Susan Manning
Grierson Professor of English Literature and Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities, University of Edinburgh.

Dr Peter Englander
Dr Englander is a member of the Investment Committee of Apax Partners and the CEO of the Apax Foundation.
